JERRY E. FEEMAN
Jerry Feeman was first elected to County Council representing District 6 -- which includes Tallmadge and neighborhoods in southeast Akron -- in November 2008. In November 2016, Jerry was elected to his third four-year term on County Council. Jerry served three consecutive years as Council President. He is Chair of the Finance Committee and Vice Chair of the Public Safety Committee and also serves on the Personnel and Public Works Committees. Mr. Feeman also sits as a board member on the Summit County Land Reutilization Corporation and the Northeast Ohio Four County Regional Planning and Development Organization (NEFCO). First elected to the Tallmadge City Council in 1999 as a Ward 3 Council Member, Mr. Feeman also served Tallmadge as an at-large member and served as the council's president (six years) and vice president (three years). As a City Councilman, Mr. Feeman showed the ability to work well in a legislative setting. His budgeting skills and advocacy of regional government services have been valuable to County Council as the county faces financial challenges. Professionally, Mr. Feeman works in the Real Estate industry. He is a State Licensed Real Estate Appraiser (since 1995) and a realtor. Jerry is a member of the Akron Area Board of Realtors, a member of Ohio Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Jerry and his wife Jan have three children and are active in the Tallmadge community serving with several boards and organizations including: Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce (Past President, Tallmadge Lutheran Church (Past chairman and vice-chair),Tallmadge Little League Softball (Past Board Member), Tallmadge Little League (Past President, Executive Board member, Softball coach—3 years, Basketball coach—6 years), Member Tallmadge Democratic Club
